Road Trippin' to Washington state

Kaitlyn and I (Allison) headed on a week long road trip with my family (the parrs, and my parents) to Anacortes, Washington for Wesley (my cousin) and Maren's wedding. We left May 9th and after driving 15 1/2 hours we arrived at Anacortes. We rented a house there that had a beatiful ocean view. We spent plenty of time at the beaches and enjoyed the rare clear and beatiful skies! The wedding was 2 hours away in Seattle at the Seattle Temple. The wedding was great and everyone looked stunning. The reception was in a education building right beside the ocean. While in Washington state we visited Andrew and Sarah's cute new apartment in Everett. They had a nature walk that we walked and Sarah and I spotted two baby possums. We spent a day in Seattle later in the week and did lots of fun shopping and all the great tourist stuff such as: shopped at Pikes Market, found the gum wall, took a cruise of the Seattle bay, went to the aquarium, went to the top of the Space Needle, and rode the monorail. We did a lot more then written but I think this makes the point that we were constantly on the move to make sure we didn't miss anything while spending our time in Washington. Thanks for having your wedding there Wes! We had a blast on our road trip but missed Dad a lot! Hopefully we can get back up there with him sometime. We arrived home May 16th at 11:00pm. Kaitlyn and all the other kids were such troopers they did awesome! Enjoy the pics!

We found lots of star fish!

Gum Wall! So much! Molly even added to the art!

The building with the brown push out is where we ate for lunch and after I nursed Kailtyn. While she was nursing she decided to poop! And guess what.... It was a total blow out (not much was even in the diaper ) all over my pants! We had just begun the day in Seattle and had lots more places to see. I ended up traveling the rest of the day in poopy pants and Kaitlyn had fresh clothes that I had packed in case of a emergency such as this. Lesson learned...bring extra pants for the adults as well! Good Times!
