Behind...

Time is flying so fast as we are having so much fun and staying busy!
Here are a couple more pictures of Kaitlyn in her blessing dress that I forgot to post.

Kaitlyn is 3 months and is as happy as ever. 11.5 lbs. 24" long. Sleeps all through the night from 9:00pm to 6:00am. She abosolutely loves mornings, she starts her day off with cooing, laughing, and screaming happily. She is grabbing toys and her feet and brings them to her mouth. We have started to potty train her. She loves using the toilet and has caught on very fast. No more poopy diapers for us! She even has learned "all done" in sign language so she can let us know when she is finished. She loves it when the cats and dog come and visit her so she can pet them. We are proud of each of her new accomplishments and are enjoying each step in her life.





Morning giggles!

The evening of Feb. 21 Bandit got kicked by a horse. We ran him up to the Animal hospital and got x-rays. It was confirmed that Bandit had gotten his tibia snapped right in half. 8 bolts and a plate later we have our little man put back together. He has a large cast on now and has to take it real easy. Stephen and Bandit played hard every night and of course every weekend. So this break has not only slowed down Bandit but Stephen as well. Bandit is in good spirits as he gets constant attention from all of us. He thinks he can get wild like he used to and doesn't like help doing things (example: the day we picked him up from the hospital he tried to jump in the back of our truck by himself.). These are the rules the doctor gave: He is  to be confined to a section of the house with carpeted floors, no jumping on/off furniture, confined to small room when unattended with E-collar on, no playing, running, or jumping, use short leash when going outside to urinate/defecate. At the bottom of the ,"rule" page it reads, "Your pet will feel like fully using the leg before the fracture is sufficiently healed. please continue the restriction during this difficult time when he is feeling "too" well! Failure to do so may cause serious healing problems." Well let me tell you if you don't know our dog very well he only has 3 speeds. Stopped, running, or super speed running. This whole running thing with the fracture is hard to keep under control. As for getting into the house Stephen built Bandit a ramp so we don't have to carry him up the stairs but if you are not careful Bandit tries to jump off the ramp at the half way point. We can't wait til Bandit is back and running we are hoping for a fast recovery and so thankful for his wonderful spirit. We love our baby puppy!
