Lots of Catching up to do... the summer has flown by fast. Stephen went to work in Germany for three weeks in June which took a lot of our camping time up. We have been busy with all the exciting things to do in July such as the stampede, 4th of July, camping, and all the stuff still to come.
Stephen has made quite the farmer out of Bandit! Bandit loves to go move hand lines (it involves water!), helping water the horses, and moving or watching the animals (doesn't matter what kind). He is quite the helper. Here are some pictures over the last month down at the farm.
This weekend we went camping up Mayfield Canyon. We love it up there. So much to see and do. There are lots of tiny lakes that pop up out of nowhere. We stopped at some of them and at one lake Bandit had his first swimming lesson. He loves to swim now! I can't wait to take him up to the cabin and swim with him. When he first realized he couldn't touch the bottom his eyes and face turned into a panic look. He then trusted his instinct and started to move his front legs around. The first little swim made him very tired but once he got a hang of it he just took off swimming. This movie clip is his fifth or sixth time out in the deep end so he was a lot better about swimming. We are so proud of our Bandit dog!
Here are some more camping pictures. Camping with so much water around was great for Bandit so he wouldn't get too hot! H
