Saturday was a busy day! We were getting ready for the light parade. We decorated a flat bed trailer in christmas lights. Our float was a country christmas with the phillips family playing their instruments, I sat on the bench holding hot coco and clapping to the beat!Sunday we went christmas tree hunting. This has always been a favorite tradition of mine. I grew up hunting christmas trees up by Bear Lake but now we go up Maple Canyon just up the Canyon from Nephi. Travel is a lot faster then driving to Bear Lake. We took our fourwheeler and rode up the road for a while. Stephen stopped suddenly and started to walk off the trail when suddenly he turned and saw our perfect tree. We were the first ones in the family to find our tree so we went and helped others look. Bandit sure had fun running and leaping over the dead trees around us. The day turned out great and by the time we got back to our truck it was dark. We can home and found out that we won the parade that we were in on Saturday. We didn't even know there would be a winner. So that was fun but now we have to come up with something better for next year. By the end of the night we had our tree in the house all decorated! pics are coming soon.
